Business owners in the health and fitness space need help. The majority do not know who their actually customer is, who their target audience is. And that's not good. You need to be sending the right message to the right people to generate long term clients and customers.
You can have a community inside your facility and you should. Members and clients feel safe and have great experiences. I talk about building a community outside of your walls. Like minded businesses. Complementary businesses where you help each other grow. That is what I am talking about.
Make sure you have relevance to the people you are messaging. Know your audience and your potential customer.
When in business we have a tendency to get rid of the terrible things (as you should) but keep the mediocre things around, simply because they weren't terrible. That should change!
A little bit goes a long way. Members and clients will talk about you in a more positive way.
As soon as a prospect signs up or someone purchases ancillary services like personal training or massage or coaching, make sure to send them a heartfelt text or email thank ing them for their purchase. Show excitement in your words. They will enjoy it.
Too many times, owners have tried to make clients happy by cutting their prices, giving deals, or giving things away for free that normally have a cost associated with them. This is a sure fire way to kill your business! Don't do it. Your price is set for a reason. It is the value of the service you provide. Don't sell yourself short by cutting your price! Tell them your price and shut your mouth. Don't try to convince them.
It's 2024. Your competition is no longer local brick and mortar businesses. Your competition is the entire world! What are you doing to stand out?
